Real Madrid will make no moves during the winter transfer window. Despite speculation around potential reinforcements, the club’s management has decided to maintain its current squad and stick to its existing plan through the remainder of the season. The only operation on the agenda is the loan of Endrick to Olympique Lyon, a move designed to ensure regular playing time and continued development for the young Brazilian forward.
Beyond that temporary departure, no signings or adjustments are planned during the winter window. The decision stands despite head coach Xabi Alonso’s expressed desire to strengthen the midfield. Internally, the coach has indicated that additional options in that area could be beneficial, particularly given the intensity of the competition schedule in the second half of the season. From the club’s perspective, however, the assessment is clear.
Real Madrid believes it has sufficient depth and quality within the current squad to compete effectively until the end of the campaign. Confidence in internal solutions has outweighed the need for short-term recruitment. As a result, any significant transfer activity has been postponed until next summer, when a broader evaluation of the sporting project is expected. For now, stability and continuity remain the guiding principles of the club’s approach.
