Germany has announced a significant expansion of its cybersecurity and digital defense cooperation with Israel, responding to the growing complexity of modern hybrid warfare and the increasing frequency of cyberattacks. The agreement was signed in Jerusalem by German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reinforcing bilateral security ties between the two countries.
At the core of the cooperation is the development of a so-called “Cyber Dome,” a cyber defense concept inspired by Israel’s advanced technological capabilities.
